[Synopsis]
Five friends, create a rock band using their musical talents
to the extreme. After getting a spot in a major state band competion the girls are on their way to performance, while in the
meantime the lead singer must get over her fear of performance, her abusive father and the bossy leader's put downs.
[So Then What Happens?]
Two weeks before the competetion Lizzie's father beats her to death. Unable to go on with grief,
her friends decide to go on with the show-but play a new song. A song in memory of their dead friend. A rock version of "Somewhere
Over The Rainbow"-Lizzie's favourite.
[Character Profiles]
Sierra-(Danielle) Sierra is Lizzie's best friend. She plays the guitar in
the band, and shes pretty determined. But one part of her doubts Lizzie. She is the first to discover Lizzie's father's abuse.
Roxie-(Megan) Roxie is bitchy, she's loud, and she's bossy. She plays the
guitar too and manages the band. All bands need someone in control don't they?
Madison- Madison is the other lead vocalist. She's compassionate, kind, and
understanding to Lizzie's stage fright, and tends to back up Lizzie when Roxie freaks
Margot-Margot is a hardcore rocker. She's quieter, she plays the drums and
she's easy to talk to because she listens.
Lizzie- Lizzie is one of the two lead singers. Although with a great voice,
Lizzie is terribly shy. Her dad abuses her, and is an alcoholic and Lizzie is terrified of performing for an audience.
